SUMMARY:Cobb RA's 2021 Electronic Endorsement Convention for Cobb GOP Leadership
DESCRIPTION:Cobb RA Members Who Pay the Registration May Vote for the Organization to Endorse One of the Candidates\n\n\nOnce again\, Cobb County GRA members have an opportunity make a difference for the Republican cause in our county. Through this electronic endorsement convention\, we can be instrumental in helping to shape the future of the Cobb County Republican Party as we prepare for the 2022 mid-term elections. \nHere are some important things you need to know in order to particpate in the electronic endorsement convention: \nIn order for any ballots collected in this electronic convention election to be eligible to count toward the endorsement\, they must be cast by (1) members in good standing of the Cobb County Republican Assembly who have (2) paid their registration for this electronic convention. Funds paid toward registration enable this local chapter to support our endorsed candidates. Names and email addresses for ballots cast will be cross-checked with our latest membership list and the list of those who have paid their registration on this EventBrite page. \nIn order for any candidate to receive the endorsement of the local chapter\, that candidate must receive no less than a two-thirds majority of the participating eligible ballots cast by members of the Cobb County Republican Assembly in this electronic convention. \nEach race will have an an option to elect the candidates qualified to run in the Republican primary as well as the option “No endorsement.” The name of the candidate will be listed above a photo of the candidate. \nOnce a ballot has been electronically submitted\, it cannot be changed. The first submission will be the controlling submission vote. \nVoting will begin at 9:00pm (EST) on Tuesday\, March 30th and will end at 10:00pm (EST) on Friday\, April 2nd\, in the year of our Lord 2021. Any ballots cast or registration paid after these times will not be counted toward the final tally\, and no refunds will be provided\, nor will refunds be given if a member forgets to vote in a timely fashion. During those four calendar days the Cobb County Republican Assembly will also seek to post online our video interviews with the candidates in the applicable race(s).
