On Monday, Cobb Republican Assembly members combined with GOP Members from HD 19 to hear from State Rep. Joseph Gullet (R-19) and School Board Member Brad Wheeler.
The Cobb Republican Assembly also elected officers to serve for the next two years term. Congratulations to the new team!

“We are winning and I’m excited about what our new team might be able to accomplish over the next two years,” said Chris Deeb, the newly elected Cobb RA Chairman and chapter President. “Next year’s agenda will be all about winning!”

Rep. Gullet gave a report on issues the state legislature addressed at the capitol last year and issues expected to confront the legislature next year, including the proposed Equal Protection Pro-Life legislation, Election Integrity reform, and ideas for having gold treated as currency rather than as a capital gain.
“Our core values is what motivates us and defines our identity, both as individuals and as an organization. Together we can do a better job of defining those values and communicating those values with our legislators and in our outreach,” said Karee Grier, Cobb RA Secretary. “I believe Cobb RA has great potential!”
The Cobb GOP also conducted some business in their portion of the meeting as House District 19 elected Mrs. Pamela Jean-Francois as HD Secretary and Marcus Jean-Francois to serve as Treasurer of the Lost Mountain 03 precinct. HD 19 also voted to adopt local bylaws / rules governing their sub-division of the Cobb GOP. Among other things, the new rules enable House District 19 in the Cobb GOP to pass its own resolutions by a simple majority.
