DonateIt’s not over yet. Not by a long shot. For at least the next two years in Georgia, Republicans still have control of the State Capitol. There’s no time to waste!

With the legislative session in Atlanta having just begun, our elected Republican state legislators need to get serious and address the horrendous holes in our state’s election system that led to concerns about probable voter fraud and abuse in the previous general election and runoff!

Here are some things they should prioritize:

  1. Georgia should have NO absentee ballots issued in an election that do not require proof of I.D. and/or a notary.
  2. DeKalb & Fulton Counties should NOT be allowed to submit their vote totals hours after everyone else! They are the most urban counties in the state. If anything, they should be more high-tech and the first to report.
Cobb County RA Chair Nathaniel Darnell volunteering as a poll worker on January 5th.

After all of the complaints expressed about ballot counting for the November presidential election, our Cobb RA Chairman Nathaniel Darnell volunteered as a poll watcher at a precinct for the U.S. Senate runoff. “Having paid very close attention to how the Dominion voting system worked,” Nathaniel said, “I see no reason why, if Fulton and DeKalb are using the same system, it should take them so much longer to report than it did for Cobb. As soon as the polls were closed, the poll workers at our precinct in Cobb showed me a printout receipt that had the exact totals of all the votes each candidate received in our precinct. It was instant.”

Fulton and DeKalb should have had the same instant totals. The only thing left to be done would have been adding those numbers to the absentee ballot totals and early vote totals, which should have been ready to add very simply and just as instantly. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger should require each county to have all early votes and absentee ballots counted and ready to add to the day-of election votes so that there is no delay that could feed concerns about about counties such as Fulton stuffing ballots to change the outcome.

Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan demoted three Republican senators who called for a special session and more thorough investigations into the alleged voter fraud.

In addition, there have also been calls for the legislature to re-evaluate the security of the Dominion Voting System, and this should receive due scrutiny.

However, our leaders in Georgia are off to a bumpy start in addressing these and other related concerns dear to the hearts of thousands of Republican voters across the state. To his credit, Governor Brian Kemp has declared that making Photo IDs required for absentee ballots will be “front and center” this year.

Garland Favorito

Activist Garland Favorito with VoterGA.org has been keeping folks in the loop about the progress of the case. “Our lawsuit to inspect Fulton County absentee ballots is alive and well!” said Garland. On Wednesday, January 6th, he continued: “We received a protective order to prevent Fulton from tampering with the ballots and we were granted a hearing to determine if Fulton County violated Open Records Request law.” You can watch the hearing held for injunctive relief against Fulton County for the alleged stuffing of absentee ballots at the State Farm Arena during the presidential election on November 3rd. The Constitution Party of Georgia has also helped to spread the word on the latest developments. Monica Perez interviewed Garland on her podcast two days ago. Prior to that, Garland was also interviewed by former State Senator & 3rd GAGOP District Chairman Mike Crane on Common Ground:

Democrats Try to Shutdown West Cobb Voting Location

Democrats Try to Shutdown West Cobb Voting Location

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ! Janine Eveler and Lisa Cupid have buckled to Democrat threats of lawsuits and closed Boots Ward Recreation Center as an early voting location TWO business days before voting starts. This is an attempt to disenfranchise Republicans in West Cobb. We need to call and email Cobb Elections Board members and say “NO” to this. They meet today at 4:00 for an official vote!

Debbie Fisher Elected as the New Cobb County Republican Assembly President

Debbie Fisher Elected as the New Cobb County Republican Assembly President

The Cobb County Republican Assembly is pleased to announce that Cobb GRA member Debbie Fisher has been elected as the new Cobb County Republican Assembly President. She was nominated by her predecessor Frank Molesky, who is stepping down from the position so that he can devote more time toward his role as the Southeastern Director for the NFRA. The Cobb GRA Board voted on her nomination earlier this week, and we are pleased to have such a hard-working and energetic person as Debbie on the leadership team.

For years Debbie has worked tirelessly with a group of activists in Cobb County to bring attention to some of the concerns going on with the Cobb County Commission. Among other things, she and Jan Barton worked with Alicia Adams to organize grassroots groups to oppose the real estate tax increases the Commission voted on two years ago. She will be working to mobilize the Cobb GRA to help its new endorsed candidate Larry Savage win the Republican Primary for Cobb County Commission Chairman on June 9th.

Larry Savage Wins Cobb GRA Endorsement!

Larry Savage Wins Cobb GRA Endorsement!

Last Friday’s conclusion to the Cobb County Republican Assembly’s Electronic Endorsement Convention saw Larry Savage receive 90.9% of the vote, which more than satisfies the requisite two-thirds majority needed to earn the endorsement of the Cobb GRA. The Marietta Daily Journal reported on the story last night .
Larry brings to the race for Cobb County Commission Chairman an impressive detailed grasp and analysis on the ins and outs of Cobb Commission operations. Many believe he knows how the Commission works better than any of the other candidates. Voters would not likely have to worry with the county manager or the county government bureaucracy bogging him down or escaping his scrutiny. He has extensive experience managing private business organizations where efficiency has been necessary to stay profitable.
Larry Savage for Cobb Commission Chairman
Beyond his experience, Larry is also known as a “straight-shooter,” meaning that he doesn’t say one thing and do another. He tells you exactly what he genuinely believes is true. He’s not afraid to deliver the hard “Savage” truths—even when they’re not easy to hear. He will diagnose the problem and find effective solutions. He is a man of firm small-government and fiscally responsible convictions, having spoken out against Cronyism and other excesses in Cobb for years, even filing lawsuits against some of the worst examples of it. He’s a proven hero in the fight for a healthy constitutional community.

Cobb GRA Helps Mike Boyce Beat Tim Lee for Braves Stadium Deal Debacle

Cobb GRA Helps Mike Boyce Beat Tim Lee for Braves Stadium Deal Debacle

Cobb GRA 1st Vice President Scott McDaniel and Chairman Nathaniel Darnell participated today in the newly elected Cobb County Commission Chairman Mike Boyce‘s swearing in ceremony. Immediately after forming as an official chapter of the Georgia Republican Assembly, the Cobb County Republican Assembly’s first act was to unanimously endorse Mike Boyce over incumbent Tim Lee in the Republican Primary run-off. The Cobb County Republican Assembly (“Cobb GRA”) wanted to send a clear message that they are against the tax increases that Tim Lee pushed through behind the backs of the citizens of Cobb County to advance the “crony capitalist” activity of subsidizing the billionaire owner of the Atlanta Braves with tax-dollars to the tune of $400 million. Our members went door-to-door, made phone calls, put out yard signs, and helped to get out the vote for Mike Boyce.

Chairman Mike Boyce had pledged not to commit the same blunders as his predecessor Tim Lee.

We congratulate Mr. Boyce and will look to see him improve the policy of the Cobb County Commission.
